Quality Control Technician
**Job Title: Quality Control Technician** **Job Description** Provide quality assurance support to the production team to ensure the highest quality standards and procedures are met. This role involves performing detailed audits of in-process and finished products, documenting daily production processes, and collecting data to analyze trends. Collaborate with quality control production teams to diagnose issues and implement corrective action procedures. **Responsibilities** + Conduct internal quality audits to verify product compliance with company standards and tolerances. + Sample and test products at various stages of production. + Troubleshoot production and quality issues on the production floor and inspect products to ensure quality standards are within tolerance. + Perform internal and external calibration on all test equipment to ensure testing accuracy. + Assist the Quality Manager with assigned duties as necessary. + Complete training as directed by the supervisor. + Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control processes. + Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers. + Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. + Confidence and competence in dimensional analysis and tolerance analysis. + Experience in troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Solid understanding of test equipment. + Working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions. + Ability to analyze and interpret information, with skills in recordkeeping and database management. + Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills. + Experience in monitoring and assessing performance for improvements. + Systems analysis skills to determine how systems should work and how changes will affect outcomes. + Responsible for product compliance and maintaining compliance systems to ISO standards. + Collaborative skills to review change requests and prepare for audits. + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. + Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience. + Experience with database and ERP systems is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued and rewarded. Personal protective equipment, such as safety toe shoes and safety glasses, is required. The facility is not climate controlled. Current shift is 7am - 7:30pm, Monday through Friday, until the end of the year. The regular shift in the new year will be from 6pm - 6:30am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stroudsburg, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.18 - $25.18/hr.
