Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing quality control checks on the production line. This role involves conducting basic testing on products, such as salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture, as well as ensuring Critical Control Points like the metal detector and x-ray machine are functioning properly. Additional duties include pre-operation inspections, microbiological, and allergen swabbing.
Responsibilities
Perform quality control checks on the production line.Conduct basic testing on products including salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture.Check and maintain Critical Control Points such as metal detectors and x-ray machines.Conduct pre-operation inspections.Perform microbiological and allergen swabbing.Oversee 1-2 production lines at a time, depending on workload.Manage a sample load of up to 10 samples per hour at maximum.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma1+ Years of Quality Control experience in the Food IndustryJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lemont, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
