Quality Control Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality for our medical device products by conducting tests, verifying materials, and supporting compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Your work will directly contribute to saving lives through innovative healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct tests on cards, readers, and capillary tubes.Perform routine performance checks and material verification.Assist with testing requirements.Maintain compliance with GMP and good laboratory practices.Communicate effectively within a team and satisfy personal responsibilities.Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Assess and troubleshoot computers, software applications, and equipment.Ensure health and safety in the lab environment.

Essential Skills

Post-secondary education in a field of science or chemistry.Minimum of 1 year experience in GMP.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to work with blood; trained phlebotomist is preferred.Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.Capability to distinguish between colors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to adjust work hours and provide on-call support.Ability to inventory and process cards, involving physical activities such as walking, bending, and lifting boxes up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment

The role is based in a quiet and clean lab, separate from the production area, with a team of 15 members. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, offering flexibility between 7 AM to 5 PM.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
