The Quality Control Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining business integrity by ensuring that quality products are produced daily to meet customer expectations. This role involves working closely with the Plant Engineer, Sales, and Production teams by conducting inspections and testing throughout the production process.
ResponsibilitiesPerform Pre-Pour inspections on products before pouring, including checking reinforcing, insert, and hole locations.Conduct Post-Pour inspections to ensure products are ready for the customer.Act as a representative for the customer within the factory.Test concrete and raw materials as required.Lead Quality Control meetings and follow up on corrective actions.Organize all quality control documentation.Coordinate with the production team on schedule changes and errors.Assist in conducting Quality Assurance audits.Train plant employees on concrete technology and Quality Control requirements.
Essential SkillsMeticulous attention to detail.Experience in quality control in a related industry.Basic computer skills.Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.ACI / PCI Certification preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing certification within 3 months and maintain it.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.
