Quality Control Technician
Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Control Technician, you will be at the forefront of technology, systematically monitoring and evaluating products to ensure they meet and exceed standards. You will perform inspections, testing, and effectively communicate with team stakeholders to enhance product quality. This role involves working with innovative technology solutions and requires autonomous problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Verify products in accordance with documentation and customer requirements.Perform routine inspections of electronic sub-assemblies, cables, and hardware.Document and communicate deviations from process, product, form, fit, and function.Resolve minor deviations before advancing products to the next stage.Create product or process standards in collaboration with respective departments.Ensure amendments are captured in appropriate documentation.Learn and apply new or custom product standards.Perform testing of completed products using test equipment and software.Operate mechanical and electrical test equipment for standard conformance.Collect data and organize it into tables and charts.Maintain internal diagnostics programs with respective departments.Assist with training new team members.Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results.

Essential Skills

Quality Control and Inspection expertise.Electronics knowledge.Two years of on-the-job experience in mechanical inspection or a related field.Two years working knowledge of computer hardware or networking.Detail and process-oriented mindset.Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or an additional three years of related experience.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Continued interest in new technologies and willingness to learn.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
