Job Description
Join our team as a Quality Control Technician in the Fabrication area, focusing on final assembly after products leave the paint booth. Your primary role will include quality inspection of minute details, such as paint errors and scratches, ensuring that only top-quality products pass through to the next stage. You will document and label defective products and inspect items from raw materials to the final assembly. This role offers extensive cross-training opportunities across various departments, enhancing your skills in sculpting, sanding, and operating hand and power tools.
ResponsibilitiesConduct quality inspections focusing on minute details like paint errors and scratches.Communicate effectively with all departments regarding errors.Document and label defective products.Inspect products from raw materials to final assembly.Learn and operate fabrication tools, box machines, and upholstery equipment.Understand the entire production process from welding to final assembly.Use basic shop math and company drawings.Apply precision and care in the use of tools.Essential Skills2-3 years of experience in quality control processes.Experience in fabrication or assembly.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly.Understanding of sheet metal and carpentry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the manufacturing industry.Experience in quality assurance or a similar role.Familiarity with auto body paint or artistry.Experience with grinding and art equipment.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
