Our client in the Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Quality Control Tech to join their team. As a Quality Control Tech - you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the production and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and prior Quality experience which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Control Tech - 1st
**Location:** AUSTIN, IN
**Pay Range:** $20.00
**Shift:** First shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime as needed
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform analytical and sensory analysis of in-process and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
+ Record all testing results accurately and legibly in quality documentation
+ Conduct pre-operation inspections of processing equipment to ensure compliance with GMPs and SSOPs
+ Inspect ingredient storage areas and incoming ingredients for adherence to specifications
+ Coordinate with sanitation and processing supervisors to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards
**What's Needed?**
+ High School degree required
+ Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and science mathematics
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus
+ Excellent attendance record
+ Ability to pass background check and drug screenings
