PCSI is looking for a Quality Control Manager to support our upcoming custodial contract on Lackland Air Force Base! The Quality Control Manager develops, implements, and monitors quality and safety procedures, and supports operations. This position leads continuous process improvement and works closely with the corporate Safety department to lead safety meetings and trainings.
The Quality Control Manager also assists the project manager with overseeing operations by participating in hiring, enforcing policies, and maintaining positive customer relations.
We're looking for someone with experience leading custodial operations with an understanding of related quality control and safety procedures. This position is based on Lackland AFB and typically works a Monday-Friday day shift, with ability to cover weekends or emergencies as needed.

What You'll Do as Quality Control Manager:
Quality Control and Safety
Manage, maintain, and promote awareness of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with corporate quality directives and the ISO 9001 standard. Develop, implement, and monitor a site-specific quality control program. Oversee quality control inspections and/or audits performed in accordance with the site-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP) and validate operational controls. Collaborate with PCSI operations in standardizing and implementing operational controls e.g., procedures/work instructions, checklists, training plans, etc. Perform and document process and system inspections or audits in accordance with established written procedures and standards. Monitor and analyze processes and implement solutions to drive continual improvement. Obtain and maintain quality data required to support management review efforts at site/corporate levels. Provide direction and supervision to Quality Control Inspector(s). Provide onsite employee training as needed and when applicable. Lead and drive compliance with PCSI’s safety and Risk Mitigation program, promoting a positive culture of safety. Conduct monthly safety meetings, required safety training, hazard inspections/assessments, and other safety related responsibilities in accordance with PCSI’s safety program. Lead investigation of all site actual/potential mishaps and oversee the root cause analysis and corrective action process. Manage medical surveillance and respiratory protection program, able to perform respiratory fit testing.Support for Project Manager
Assist with overseeing operations of the contract to ensure the work identified in the contract is performed properly, on time, safely and within budget. May be required to fill in for Project Manager as needed. Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training employees. Administer corporate personnel policies in accordance with contract and Employee Handbook. Support the People Team in investigations, inquiries and implementation of actions and policy. Process employee time sheets, new hire and termination paperwork and all other administrative tasks by established deadlines. Maintain and support employees with Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Order and maintain all cleaning supplies, equipment and tools and submit invoices of ordered supplies. May be required to evaluate and recommend equipment and tools necessary for job functions. Collaborate with Workforce Development to place employees in suitable positions and given appropriate accommodations (as required). Maintain consistent positive customer relations through written and verbal professional communications and respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Two years’ experience in custodial services required. Two years’ experience managing/supervising employees required, including coaching and skill development. Experience with quality control standards. OSHA 30hr certification is a plus. Experience in an environment that includes workers with disabilities preferred. Government and/or Department of Defense (DoD) contract experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of PC functions/software e.g., MS Office & working knowledge of pivot tables. Experience in conflict resolution. Experience with safety regulations and standards. Experienced in root cause analysis, data analysis and preventive/corrective action. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to set and manage priorities. Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.Other Requirements:
Ability to pass criminal, financial, drug, and driving screening. Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record. Potential exposure to dirt, dust, odors, chemicals and infectious diseases. Must be able to work flexible hours when needed.
