Quality Control Manager
Job Title: Quality Control ManagerJob Description We are seeking a Quality Control Manager for an ongoing project at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. This role involves overseeing mechanical, electrical, and general construction aspects. The interior of the building is nearing completion, with minor roofing tasks and interior fit-outs remaining. The successful candidate will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring quality standards are upheld and communicating progress in meetings. Responsibilities + Manage and oversee day-to-day operational aspects of the construction project. + Review the scope of work and uphold quality standards. + Communicate progress of work in meetings. + Oversee multiple subcontractors on site. Essential Skills + Quality control management experience in construction projects. + QCM certification. + OSHA 30 certification. + Experience in large commercial construction, with 3-4 years of federal construction preferred. + Technical proficiency and ability to manage multiple subcontractors. + High communication skills. + US citizenship with a clean background. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with federal contracts is highly advantageous. Work Environment The work will be performed on-site at the Naval Research Lab, Chesapeake Beach. The team will include a Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, and a Superintendent/Safety Officer. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Naval Academy, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $57.69/hr.
