Quality Control Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Control Inspector** Job Description Perform inspections and tests of raw and finished goods to ensure that quality standards are being met throughout the manufacturing process. The role involves managing the inspection process, resolving quality issues, and maintaining quality tools and equipment. Responsibilities + Understand the requirements of each job. + Perform and manage the inspection process. + Assist in resolving quality issues. + Assist in the maintenance of quality tools and equipment. + Develop and maintain inspection fixtures. + Perform secondary operations. + Manage vendor relationships. + Provide customer service. + Maintain quality certifications. + Conduct dimensional inspection of raw and finished goods. + Apply GD & T for both imperial and metric standards. + Perform NDT of primarily ferrous materials. + Make accept or reject decisions. + Communicate defects and problems using existing ISO procedures and forms. + Communicate with customers and vendors. + Participate in problem identification and corrective action. + Perform document reviews. + Authorize parts for shipment. + Coordinate and maintain the calibration of measuring equipment. Essential Skills + Proficiency in quality control, including use of calipers, micrometers, and blueprints. + Experience with basic measuring tools such as micrometers, gage pins/blocks, and indicators. + Basic knowledge of CMMs and Vision Cameras. + Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. + Good communication skills. + Experience in cmm inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Basic computer skills (knowledge of Excel is a plus). + CAD experience is helpful. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
