**Job Title: Quality Control Inspector** **Job Description** This position is a 1st Shift role from 6am to 2:30pm, with the possibility of extending up to 4:30pm. Frequent Saturday shifts ranging from 6 to 8 hours may be required. The role involves completing inspection and testing tasks to ensure manufactured items meet company, industry quality standards, and contract specifications. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and measure materials, products, and work for conformance to specifications and standards throughout the manufacturing cycle. + Accurately use all standard measuring tools, including rulers, calipers, and force gauges. + Interpret blueprints, data, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, and measuring instruments required. + Record inspection data and quantities inspected on required inspection reports. + Collect and file inspection and test records in accordance with established record maintenance procedures. + Notify supervisors and other personnel of production quality problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems. + Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions. + Complete all required record keeping, including time sheets and traceability forms. + Understand part numbers and revision levels. + Inspect customer repairs as needed. + Assist with the training of new inspectors as needed. + Perform other related duties as required or assigned. + Follow company rules and procedures. **Essential Skills** + 1 to 2 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing. + Ability to read and write English documents. + Proficiency in basic computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. + Capability to accurately use standard measuring tools. + Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and work specification sheets. + Attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + ITAR compliance. + Experience with upholstery, sewing machines, apparel, upholstering, industrial sewing, and sewing. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term opportunity with potential for growth and permanence within the company. Although fluency in English is not required, understanding basic written instructions is necessary. The company has many bilingual employees available to assist. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA ANA, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.45 - $20.64/hr.
