Job Description
The Quality Control Technician’s role is to perform a variety of technical inspections and measure objects compared to their intended physical specifications, identifying defects. The candidate must have experience with hands-on inspection and measurement of parts in manufacturing (excluding food, beverage, and pharma). The candidate must be able to read a tape measure (down to 1/16\"), and work with micrometers and various measuring tools.
ResponsibilitiesReading blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.Analyzing data and writing summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.Recommending modifications to existing standards, methods, and procedures or suggesting new ones.Inspecting materials produced or purchased.Using tools such as micrometers and other calibrated tools to measure products.Removing products that do not meet specifications.Accepting or rejecting finished products.Performing inspections to assess product quality.Scanning and uploading documents accordingly.Other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsWorking knowledge of calibrated test tools and equipment.Ability to read rulers on 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nd, and 1/64th scales.Proficiency with metric and standard measurement tools.Ability to use micrometers, verniers, and calipers.3+ years of hands-on inspection experience on parts.Proficiency with measurements and technical drawings.Record keeping and computer skills.Detail-oriented.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with quality control, visual inspection, and blueprint reading.Experience in a manufacturing inspection environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
First shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with flexibility to start earlier or run later based on needs). The shop/manufacturing environment is very clean and organized. We have a great culture with many tenured employees who are very friendly and helpful. We seek someone who can work well in a team. While working, the employee is frequently required to talk, stoop, hear, use fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Ascending and descending stairs and/or ladders is also required.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $52000.00/yr.
