**Job Description**
Perform thorough visual and dimensional inspections and testing of products, materials, or components to ensure they meet quality specifications and are suitable for testing or analysis, following established sampling plans and protocols. Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the required product characteristics and features. Utilize inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, and vision systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of products, materials, or components.
+ Ensure compliance with quality specifications through rigorous testing.
+ Review engineering drawings and blueprints for product feature comprehension.
+ Operate inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in inspection techniques and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with medical device inspection is advantageous.

**Work Environment**
Work the first shift in a lab area that is not regulated. Engage in both in-process and final inspections.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
