Quality Control Chemist

Description

The QC Chemist will be responsible for performing HPLC, GC, and bench chemistry on a day to day basis on an enzyme, as well as some new products coming down the pipeline. Testing includes a lot of wet chemistry, a few HPLC and GC tests, but the bulk of the testing is HPLC. This individual will also be performing some review and following some customer requests/guidelines. The testing is routine, but there will be cross training among multiple tests so there will be a variety for them to work on. Project work available related to all products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVES:

Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or other life science

3-5+ years of HPLC analysis, ideally 5+ years

Troubleshooting and problem solving experience

Documentation is important

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
