The Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for the following:
Laboratory & Analytical Support
Operate analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, spectroscopy techniques).
Perform microbiological, chemical, radiochemical, stability, and batch release testing.
Conduct sampling, aliquoting, contamination surveys, and environmental monitoring.
Complete receiving inspections and ERP release activities.
Documentation & Compliance
Author and revise GMP documentation within the eQMS.
Review analytical data, laboratory logbooks, and test records.
Support deviations, laboratory OOS investigations, NCMRs, and CAPA activities.
Participate in DCO processes for protocols, reports, SOPs, and test documentation.
Radiation Safety
Handle radioactive materials in compliance with ALARA principles.
Participate in dosimetry monitoring and bioassay testing.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Support manufacturing operations and operational readiness.
Train peers on QC procedures and analytical methods.
Join project teams supporting manufacturing and quality initiatives.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field.
3+ years of experience in a regulated laboratory or GMP environment.
Preferred:
4+ years of cGMP experience.
Prior experience handling radioactive materials.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing and batch production records.
Experience with alpha, gamma, or beta spectroscopy.
