🔬 About the RoleAs a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our operation—monitoring quality on the production floor, performing laboratory testing, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and BRC standards. You’ll investigate issues, contribute to process improvements, and communicate findings directly with manufacturing teams and leadership. No two nights are the same, and your work will directly influence product quality and customer satisfaction.
✅ What You’ll DoPerform quality control checks on the production floor and conduct lab testing on raw materials and in‑process productsEnsure ongoing compliance with cGMP, food safety, and BRC standardsSupport updates and improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Conduct internal audits, investigations, and root‑cause analysisAccurately complete data entry, documentation, and reporting using ExcelCollaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing teams and site leadershipWork both independently and as part of a supportive QA team🧪 What You BringRequired Skills & Experience
QA/QC experience or 1–2 years of hands‑on quality experienceKnowledge of GMP, food safety, and BRC standardsExperience with titrations and microbiological testingComfortable working with Excel and data entry systemsPreferred (Not Required)
AS or BS in Biology, Food Science, Chemistry, or another scientific fieldStrong math and computer skillsBilingual skills are a plus💼 Work Environment & Schedule3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday (overnight), with a shift differentialPlant operates 24/7, offering stability and consistent hoursRaise after 15 weeks of trainingPerfect attendance bonus every two weeksWork alongside a close‑knit team: Assistant Quality Manager + 3 QA Technicians per shiftYou’ll follow GMP guidelines, including specific attire requirements. Closed‑toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves are required. Uniforms and freezer jackets are provided, as you’ll frequently move in and out of freezer environments.

This is a Contract position based out of West Hazleton, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
