Job Title: Quality Assurance TechnicianJob Description

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician where you will play a vital role in ensuring product quality and safety. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations and inspections to maintain high standards in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform physical, analytical, and sensory evaluations using a variety of laboratory equipment.Identify and isolate non-conforming materials and issue hold orders as necessary.Execute system holds and releases through the inventory management system.Conduct QA round inspections during production for product and process evaluations.Perform product sampling for analytical and microbiological testing for internal and third-party labs.Execute Environmental Monitoring Swabs.Complete third-party lab submissions and verify forms for alignment.Complete shift pass down reports.Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.Conduct weekly laboratory equipment calibrations on a rotational basis.Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness for production as part of Pre-Operation Inspection with LOTO.Perform ATP, Allergen, and environmental swabbing for validations.Document periodic GMP & Glass & Brittle Plastic inspections in rotation.Assist in compiling quality and statistical data.Maintain cleanliness of the quality lab.Perform duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP requirements.Adhere to uniform requirements.Audit HACCP paperwork.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.Experience with Inventory Management Systems.Familiarity with Quality Data Management Systems.3-5 years of QA experience.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a lab environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Work Environment

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and involves working onsite in Union City. These are third shift roles, offering an engaging and dynamic work environment. The workplace emphasizes adherence to uniform requirements and safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
