Job Description

The primary function of a Quality Technician is to ensure that all products produced meet company requirements to established product specifications and adhere to all Federal Regulations. The Quality Technician must be knowledgeable about all in-process and finished product specifications, as well as the basic principles of HACCP and GMPs, ensuring all food safety and quality protocols are followed. Familiarity with the SQF Standard is also required.

Responsibilities

Monitor HACCP and GMP compliance throughout the plant.Participate in Food Safety and GMP audits.Perform calibration/verification of all quality-related equipment and instruments.Conduct tailings inspections of flour and sugar silos.Perform incident investigations related to withheld product and CCP deviations.Ensure proper packaging materials are in use on the production floor.Assist with document revisions and maintain the document control database.Assist with verification and closure of audit corrective actions and maintain the corrective action database.Enter data for key attributes to assure maintenance of product specifications.Investigate consumer and customer complaints regarding food safety and quality.Perform SPC data entry according to established process control procedures and product specifications.Work independently and notify supervision of any issues.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.Perform additional duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
