Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS) performance and compliance with applicable certification standards. You will ensure clear and concise communication across departments and with customers regarding quality performance, requirements, and product acceptance. Your responsibilities will include documenting quality issues, correcting documentation, sorting or containing stock when necessary, and ensuring that shop floor activity documentation is accurately reported and archived.

ResponsibilitiesAdvocate and assist in maintaining QMS performance and compliance to applicable certification standards.Provide clear communication between departments, staff, and customers on quality performance and requirements.Document and address quality issues promptly, correcting documentation and managing stock appropriately.Ensure shop floor activity documentation is correctly reported and archived as required.Maintain department logs and documentation to support QMS procedures.Ensure accuracy in preparation and reporting of destructive lab testing activities.Essential Skills2+ years of experience as a quality assurance technician.Experience with Root Cause Analysis.Corrective action experience.Quality assurance inspection and standards.Work Environment

Work in the automotive manufacturing industry, focusing on the production of stainless steel tubing used in bus frames, exhaust pipes, air bags, and more. Engage with teams of 3-5 people in a cooperative and sociable atmosphere, always working alongside at least one other team member.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
