Job Description
The Quality Assurance Technician will primarily focus on performing in-process and finished product inspections to ensure product specifications meet regulatory and company standards. This role is vital in maintaining allergen and sanitation controls, monitoring critical control points, and meticulously documenting findings. The technician will enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), assist in non-conformance investigations, and support compliance with the Safe Quality Food (SGF) program.
ResponsibilitiesConduct routine quality checks on products.Verify allergen and sanitation control measures.Monitor critical control points in the production process.Accurately document inspection findings.Enforce and ensure compliance with GMPs.Assist with non-conformance investigations.Support ongoing compliance with the SGF program.Collect samples for lab analysis.Participate in internal and third-party audits.Calibrate testing equipment.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year experience in a QA/QC role within a food or beverage manufacturing or distribution company.Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Ability to read and interpret SOPs and QA documentation.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to follow verbal instructions in Spanish is a bonus.Strong attention to detail.Excellent organizational skills.Commitment to food safety.Passion for continuous improvement.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature-controlled and exceptionally clean, adhering to food production standards. Employees are required to wear lab coats, hairnets, beard nets, gloves, and shoe covers. The position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule, from 6AM to 2:30PM, with occasional additional hours as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46800.00 - $50960.00/yr.
