**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Tech III **Location:** Seattle, WA 98108, United States **Duration:** 5 Months (Extension Possible, Conversion Possible) **Pay Rate:** $54/hr. **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 1st Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled **Quality Assurance Technician III** to join our team in the aerospace industry. This role involves conducting inspections, verifying completion of work tasks, reviewing engineering drawings, and performing in-line inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, generate reports, analyze failures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Top 3 Required Skills** 1. **2+ years of experience** as a quality inspector for structures or electronic components (beyond functional testing). 2. **IPC 620 certification/training** . 3. Experience in **aerospace** or other high-volume industries (e.g., automotive, medical devices). **Key Responsibilities** + Perform various inspection techniques (visual, dimensional, paperwork review, etc.) in accordance with engineering specifications, business requirements, and industry standards. + Verify task completion and compliance with work instructions and the Quality Management System (QMS). + Generate non-conformance reports (NCRs), documenting failures and measurements as needed. + Process parts through the Material Review Board (MRB) per established procedures, ensuring proper identification and traceability. + Partner with Inventory and Shipping teams to resolve issues with missed or delayed parts. + Capture, track, and report relevant quality metrics. + Maintain and execute established quality control mechanisms (e.g., a calibration program). + Present weekly metrics during team meetings. + Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to investigate and resolve quality failures. **Qualifications** + 2+ years of quality inspection experience with structures or electronic components. + IPC 620 trained/certified. + Background in aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or other high-volume manufacturing industries. + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to quality standards. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. + Familiarity with quality reporting, documentation, and RCA processes.
