**Job Title: Quality and Food Safety Supervisor** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Food Safety Supervisor to manage and coordinate quality control programs ensuring continuous production and service consistent with established standards. This role involves implementing and managing food safety programs, conducting training activities, and overseeing inspection and testing procedures for finished products. **Responsibilities** + Manage and coordinate quality control programs to ensure consistent production/service. + Implement and manage food safety programs and controls, audits, and food defense programs. + Plan and conduct training activities related to quality and food safety. + Manage inspection and testing procedures for finished products. + Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work problems. + Coordinate quality control objectives with production procedures to maximize quality and reliability. + Manage and update the HACCP program. + Assist in investigating customer complaints regarding quality. + Instruct hourly personnel in safety and security aspects of their positions. + Supervise hourly personnel to ensure compliance with safety and security procedures. + Participate proactively in safety programs to provide a safe working environment. + Monitor condition of equipment and facilities, initiating corrective actions for deficiencies. + Develop a well-trained, motivated, and loyal workforce. + Ensure employees receive adequate training for assigned tasks. + Enforce company policies such as Attendance, Dress Code, and GMPs. + Reduce non-productive labor costs and effectively manage overtime. + Promote teamwork among the hourly workforce through motivation and training. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance required. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. + Excellent communication skills. + Effective problem-solving abilities. + Strong people management and interpersonal skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Associate's or Bachelor's degree desired, but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions to quality and food safety make a meaningful impact.
