Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

This role involves providing comprehensive support in quality-related tasks, including daily inquiries, policy interpretation, routine monitoring, audit preparation, corrective actions, and more. One specialist will focus on audits and audit preparation, while the other will concentrate on education and training tasks. A thorough understanding of protocol review/execution, documentation, adherence schedules, site workflows, and regulatory processes is essential.

Responsibilities

Support the Cancer, Clinical Trials, and Translational Research Office with quality-related tasks.Handle daily inquiries and interpret policies.Monitor routine activities and prepare for audits.Implement corrective actions when necessary.Focus on audit preparation and educational/training tasks.Understand and execute protocol reviews and documentation.Maintain schedules of adherence and manage site workflows.Ensure compliance with regulatory processes.

Essential Skills

Minimum of two years of experience in clinical research, preferably in a role that encompasses patient care, data management, and regulatory compliance.Clinical research certification via SOCRA or ACRP is required.Ability to understand and interpret regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in oncology.Proficiency in audit preparation and training tasks.

Work Environment

The position requires onsite presence for 2 days a week, with remote work for the remaining 3 days. Onsite days vary weekly depending on meetings and activities. Initially, the schedule will mirror the manager's, but will eventually offer flexibility, contingent on meeting and audit schedules.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
