Quality Assurance Manager
Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager Job Description Oversee, maintain, and improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of quality-related documentation and procedures, while leading the resolution of product quality issues and customer complaints. Responsibilities + Oversee the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring its maintenance and improvement. + Maintain quality-related documentation, data integrity, and QMS procedures. + Lead the resolution of product quality issues and handle customer complaints. + Ensure proper maintenance of the Product Information (PIMS) System database and other quality systems. + Manage product recertification processes, coordinating with Logistics and Laboratory teams for accuracy and timeliness. + Communicate quality issues and updates to Operations leadership, Regulatory Compliance, and Technical Management. + Provide guidance, direction, and support to QA Specialist and QA Administrative personnel. + Conduct performance reviews and promote a positive, cooperative work environment. + Regularly present metrics, data, and progress updates to senior leadership. + Identify and implement process improvements across all areas of the Quality Assurance Department. Essential Skills + 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including CAPA, investigations, audits, and handling customer complaints. + Bachelor’s degree in a science field, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). + 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within manufacturing, chemicals, or regulated industries. + 5+ years of managerial experience. + Enhanced knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and audit processes, preferably ISO 9001:2015. + Experience with QMS databases and product information systems. + Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous managerial experience in compliance and non-conforming processes. + Experience in chemistry or related fields. Work Environment This is an onsite position, operating Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. You will lead a small team consisting of 3 direct reports. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Shelton, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
