Quality Assurance Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical and electronic components. This role involves verifying product conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools, documenting inspection results, and maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and assist in non-conformance investigations while implementing corrective actions. Additionally, you will support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality policies and regulatory standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical and electronic components. + Verify product conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools. + Document inspection results and maintain accurate records. + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. + Assist in non-conformance investigations and implement corrective actions. + Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives. + Ensure compliance with quality policies and regulatory standards. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in quality assurance and inspection processes. + Experience with GMP, visual, and mechanical inspection using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards. + Skill in root cause analysis and corrective action reporting. + Use of statistical process control (SPC), GD&T, ERP systems, lean manufacturing, Microsoft Excel, and CMM. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. + Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Experience with ISO (medical device standards) is a plus. + Familiarity with electromechanical assemblies. + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. **Why Work Here?** This is a national company with opportunities for permanent roles, and contracts often get extended.
