**Description:** **The Opportunity** Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic **Quality Assurance Analyst** to join our Quality Department where you’ll join a team of 14 field professionals who love what they do. In this role, the **Quality Assurance Analyst** will ensure that developed software meets requirements. You enjoy working with a close fun team, are results driven, and want a variety of opportunities to develop personally and professionally. ________________________________________ **The Role** + Work closely with product, design, and development team members to understand business requirements and to communicate problem impacts/risks. + Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills. + Be knowledgeable in the features for which the team is responsible; understand quality assurance measures and follow industry standards in applying them. + Communicate test progress, test results, and quality of application changes. + Analyze test results to discover and report out on defects. + Proactively identify new tools/processes/approaches and continuously strive to find ways to improve the overall testing strategy. + Able to test Content Management System features, Front-end & Back-end application and web services. + Track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results. + Create and execute test plans and scripts that accurately and reliably assess application quality. + Analyze test results to discover and report defects, following best practices as defined by the team. + Use creativity and initiative to improve product test reliability, coverage, and accuracy. + Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values. **Qualifications:** **Experience:** + 3 years direct experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst for major application integration and/or major application product release + Experience working collaboratively in a team setting + Proficiency in analyzing business requirements and creating relevant plans that provide thorough test coverage + Proficiency in documenting defects with high level of detail and accuracy, following standards as defined by the team + Excellent written and oral communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills + Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager or any equivalent Content Management System. + Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Jenkins and Gitlab. + Proficiency in testing APIs/services (REST and SOAP) using SoapUI, Postman or equivalent tools + Proficiency in cross browser, cross platform web and mobile testing with Browser Stack or equivalent tools + Proficiency in searching system logs and troubleshooting potential defects. (Datadog or similar tools) + Proficiency in the preparation/maintenance of test data and test plan + Strong knowledge of software testing best practices and methodologies **Preferred Skills:** + Thorough understanding of Agile/Scrum development process + Thorough understanding of Content Management System (preferred is AEM) process. + Deploy and validate Micro services in the AEM/AWS environment. + Work on Jira, Confluence, continuous integration, and deployment tools like Jenkins and Gitlab **Education** BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. The salary range for this position is $78,500 - $97,000 The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
