Quality Assurance Analyst Lead

As a Quality Assurance Analyst Lead in our Control Management Organization, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring and testing adherence to policies and procedures, supporting our Client Advisors and Control/Support functions. As a Quality Assurance Analyst Lead, you will execute QA tests against established criteria, develop subject matter expertise on investment products and regulatory requirements, and analyze disputes and root causes. You will collaborate across regions, lead broader team initiatives, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver impactful results. In this role, you will contribute to process improvements, support risk management, and present findings to senior management, all while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous development.

Job Responsibilities:

Execute quality assurance tests against established criteria within the Geneva QA team (1st Line of Defense)Develop subject matter expertise on investment products, cross-border activity, and related regulatory requirementsDraw inferences, identify root causes, and make recommendations for corrective actionInteract with business partners to provide QA results, analyze disputes, conduct reassessments, and perform escalationsParticipate in discussions with Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit, and other stakeholders on risk issuesMonitor the control and operational environment for changes impacting QA testingRecommend and implement enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of services and systemsParticipate in ad hoc projects or targeted reviews as neededPresent business results to senior managers and deliver training, results reporting, and trend analysis to LOB Management teamsProactively highlight potential issues to management and drive process improvementsDemonstrate excellent partnership with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in oversight functions such as audit, QA, operations, risk & control, or related functions in banks, Big 4, or other financial institutionsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related fieldStrong analytical, issue resolution, and problem-solving skillsExcellent time management skills; able to work independently and as a team memberAbility to operate as a team lead and drive broader team strategiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to quickly absorb industry knowledge, business processes, policies, and regulatory requirementsFlexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet challenging deadlines while priorities are shiftingRisk and control management experienceHigh degree of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Strong Microsoft Office and data analytics knowledge preferredExperience in Private Bank or Wealth Management preferredGerman, Spanish, Italian, or Greek language skills are an asset.
