**Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee the Spares Dead on Arrival (DOA)/No Fault Found (NFF) parts programs. The role involves facilitating investigations of failed, NFF, DOA, and defective parts to identify root causes and recommend changes and improvements to parts, documentation, and processes. The successful candidate will establish and publish performance metrics to demonstrate improvement trends. **Responsibilities** + Investigate quality escapes by working directly with customers, field technical personnel, suppliers, and various company departments globally. + Identify root causes and recommend changes and improvements to parts, documentation, and processes. + Establish and publish performance metrics to illustrate improvement trends. + Facilitate scheduling and organizing meetings, and communicate directly with all fellow employees in all departments. + Evaluate workflow processes to identify efficiency, quality, and cost-cutting improvements. + Assist departments in establishing and publishing applicable performance metrics to show trends. **Essential Skills** + Experience in parts inspection and quality assurance. + Proficiency in SAP software. + Five years of experience in commercial or civil aircraft maintenance. + Two years of quality administration experience in aircraft or aircraft component maintenance. + Familiarity with airworthiness regulations concerning procurement, documentation, and traceability. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred but not required. + FAA Airframe and Power Plant Technician's license is preferred but not required. + Experience with aircraft or component illustrated parts catalogues. + Advanced proficiency in PC Windows business software, including Microsoft Office, and database management and reporting systems. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to work well with others with minimal supervision. + Ability to initiate and facilitate meetings and conferences effectively. **Why Work Here?** Our organization fosters a collaborative and dynamic work environment where employees are encouraged to innovate and improve processes.
