Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to support our procedures and ensure products meet specified requirements. This role involves maintaining QA inspection files, evaluating supplier ratings, and reporting inspection results.

ResponsibilitiesInspect products to specified requirements and approve or reject them.Maintain and report on Supplier Evaluation Ratings as needed.Identify and contain nonconforming products.Perform First Article Approval Inspections as required.Analyze customer returned products.Inspect, ship, and maintain files for customer samples.Maintain product drawings and specifications within the Quality Department.Conduct product and process capability studies as required.Perform Gage R&R studies as needed.Order necessary supplies.Maintain the Record Retention file (Archives).Support other tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in quality assurance and inspection techniques.Experience with calipers and micrometers.Ability to perform quality checks and visual inspections.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of Quality Inspection experience required.Familiarity with machinery and manufacturing plant operations preferred.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
