Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Quality Associate to join their team. As a Quality Associate, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Associate
**Location:** Medina, NY (Onsite)
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop and communicate expectations for quality performance, continuous improvement, quality systems, and process controls for both critical sustaining parts and new products.
+ Participate as an active member in the new products development team.
+ Conduct supplier surveys, quality system, and process control assessments.
+ Collaborate with supplier representatives to establish effective quality systems and problem-solving methodologies.
+ Monitor and drive corrective action and continuous improvement activities impacting supplier performance.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's Degree required.
+ 3-5 years of experience in Quality or related field in the medical products industry.
+ Knowledge of FDA cGMP, ANSI/ISO/ASQC, and CMDAS requirements.
+ Practical experience in metrology, test equipment, inspection, and analysis techniques.
+ Ability to effectively operate in and facilitate cross-functional teams.
