We're partnering with a well-established company in the metal fabrication and manufacturing industry that is seeking a Metal Shop QC Inspector to support first-shift production in a hands-on, shop-floor environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term conversion.

What we're looking for:

* Hands-on QC or inspection experience in a metal shop, fabrication, welding, or machining environment
* Strong ability to measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and basic gauges
* Experience performing in-process and final inspections
* Comfortable identifying common defects (dimensional issues, misalignment, workmanship concerns)
* ISO experience is a plus but not required
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working onsite

Engagement details:

* Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 annually (based on experience) - ***Variability for stronger candidates***
* Type: Contract-to-hire
* Shift: 1st shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
* Overtime: Available based on production needs
* Location: Onsite (Pottstown, PA area)
* Interview Process: One round
