Join our dynamic team as a QC Scientist I, where you will perform bench testing, including sample preparation, wet chemistry, standard weighing, and dilutions. Over time, you will be trained in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC). You will work in both the Oral Dose Solids and Nasals departments, contributing to the development of manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical products. You will also provide analytical support for the release of registration materials and assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities.
ResponsibilitiesConduct chemical and physical analyses to support product development.Provide analytical support for the release of registration materials for regulatory submissions.Assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities.Perform analytical tasks within assigned timelines and in compliance with cGXP's and company practices.Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices.Document analytical activities and results accurately and timely.Identify execution challenges of analytical methods and support troubleshooting activities.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in a Science field is required.Preferably, a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.Candidates with degrees in Biology, Microbiology, or Pharmaceutical Science with strong chemistry lab experience are considered.Prior lab experience is required, which can be from school.Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency.Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates with lab experience outside of academia are strongly preferred.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a fast-paced environment, spending time in both the quality group and occasionally the manufacturing area. The shift is 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with some flexibility. Initially, you will work five 8-hour shifts and can transition to a four 10-hour shift schedule after training.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
