Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Job Description
Perform inspections and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process, and final products. This role includes handling storage tanks, drums, shipping, and other samples accurately and timely. The technician will be responsible for learning all SOPs and test methods needed for safe and consistent sample analysis, recording data in the lab computer system, and generating Certificates of Analysis for finished products.
Responsibilities
Conduct quality assurance inspections on various samples.Perform chemical testing using techniques such as GCMS, HPLC, titration, and chromatography.Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).Record and analyze data in the laboratory computer system.Generate Certificates of Analysis for finished products.Ensure lab safety and maintain quality control standards.Essential Skills
3-5 years experience in a chemical lab.BS degree in Chemical or Chemistry related fields.Proficiency in wet chemistry, pH testing, and viscosity measurements.Familiarity with analytical chemistry and quality control lab practices.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred working knowledge of SAP.Work Environment
The position involves working in a small lab team of 6 people, with 4 on day shifts and 2 on night shifts. Training hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday for 2 months, before transitioning to a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule. The lab is equipped with new machines, offering opportunities for skill development and operating modern equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
