Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a 1st Shift QA Lab Technician to join their team. As a 1st Shift QA Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 1st Shift QA Lab Technician

Location: Commerce, CA

Pay Range: $27

Shift: 10am - 6:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Adhere to good laboratory practices (GLP), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and safety requirements Perform chemical analysis, product approvals, COA, and specifications to meet customer order requirements Maintain and update laboratory records, track incoming and outgoing products, and ensure data accuracy Assist in training laboratory technicians and support quality system audits Support blending staff by preparing and testing lab blends against set specifications

What's Needed?

Two to three years of laboratory experience in food or related industries Knowledge of flavors/oils and sensory analysis Basic understanding of quality assurance programs and computer skills College coursework in chemistry or relevant experience preferred Proficiency with numbers and logical reasoning for test data evaluation
