QC Inspector
Job Title: QC InspectorJob Description

We are seeking a diligent QC Inspector to perform quality inspections of printed circuit boards in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of IPC–610 and J-STD-001 standards, as well as proficiency in operating visual magnification devices and electronic and mechanical measuring tools.

ResponsibilitiesConduct quality inspections of printed circuit boards in accordance with IPC–610 and J-STD-001 standards.Operate and interpret results from basic electronic and mechanical measuring devices.Work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.Foster and maintain professional relationships with staff and management.Use computer-based applications proficiently for quality control tasks.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in PCB inspection, including Surface Mount and Through Hole electronics.IPC-A-610 certification and experience in bare board inspection.Ability to obtain operator certification for J-STD-001.Strong visual acuity and eye-hand coordination.Ability to review and interpret technical data packages for electronic assemblies.Basic math skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with calipers, microscopes, and micrometers.Experience with blueprints and quality assurance processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is within a small manufacturing facility with 75-100 employees, offering a climate-controlled setting. There are openings on the 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). While the primary need is on the 1st Shift, flexibility is offered for candidates interested in the 2nd Shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
