We are seeking a QC Chemist who will be responsible for testing samples, including raw materials and finished products, as well as maintaining process equipment and environmental conditions. The role involves operating lab equipment, adhering to cGMP requirements, and participating in lab investigations and internal/external quality audits. ResponsibilitiesTest raw materials and finished products according to cGMP requirements.Participate in lab investigations to ensure quality standards are met.Operate laboratory equipment efficiently and accurately.Engage in internal and external quality audits to maintain compliance.Maintain personal lab work area and assist with general lab cleaning.Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in a Science discipline.Experience in sectors beyond academic settings, such as retail or food.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred degree in Chemistry or Food Science.0-2 years of experience in a GMP/FDA regulated manufacturing environment.Work EnvironmentThis position follows a 2-2-3 schedule with shifts either from 2pm to 10am or 2am to 10pm for training, eventually transitioning to a 6am to 6pm schedule. Employees receive a 15% shift differential upon conversion. The environment offers a small company feel with large corporate support, providing opportunities for career advancement from 3rd shift to 1st shift positions.
