Join our team as a QC Analyst and play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of materials through precise testing and analysis. You will have the opportunity to work on the second shift, from 3pm to 11:30pm, while receiving training during the first shift. This position is integral to supporting product development and troubleshooting across various departments.
ResponsibilitiesPerform standardized and custom tests to evaluate mechanical and physical properties such as tensile strength, elongation, hardness, and thermal resistance.Prepare specimens for testing using cutting, molding, or conditioning techniques.Record test results accurately, analyze data trends, and identify anomalies or inconsistencies.Operate and maintain lab instruments including universal testing machines, ovens, viscometers, and microscopes.Maintain detailed lab notebooks and enter results into digital systems for traceability and reporting.Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to support product development and troubleshooting.Follow all safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and regulatory guidelines.Essential SkillsStrong understanding of material properties and testing methodologies.Proficient in data entry and basic computer applications, such as Excel and LIMS.Ability to interpret technical data and communicate findings clearly.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in materials science, chemistry, or related field preferred.Prior lab experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.Work EnvironmentThis position operates during the second shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, with initial training on the first shift.
