Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Technician to perform technical QA tasks. This role involves conducting visual inspections for foreign materials, blemishes, or mold, accurately documenting quality attributes such as size, color, brix, and defects, and utilizing various equipment like thermometers, refractometers, calipers, and metal detector interfaces. The technician will also be responsible for completing checklists, swabbing, and conducting line pre-operational inspections.

ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspections for foreign material, blemishes, or mold.Accurate documentation of quality attributes including size, color, brix, and defects.Utilize equipment such as thermometers, refractometers, calipers, and metal detector interfaces.Complete checklists, swabbing, and line pre-operational inspections.Essential SkillsQuality assurance and quality control expertise.Proficient in inspection, sampling, and testing.Strong documentation and traceability skills.Effective communication and reporting abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsAble to follow sampling protocols for retained samples and pathogen testing.Understand how to prepare and label samples for lab analysis.May assist with ATP swabs or allergen swab testing.Familiarity with QA logs, batch records, lot traceability, and hold/release tags.Digital entry proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or internal QA systems.Ability to communicate non-conformance issues to Production or QA Supervisor.Assist with hold/reject processes and rework.Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.Punctuality and reliability are essential.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our facility operates with multiple shifts: A Shift (9am - 7:30 pm) alternates weekly between Sunday-Tuesday and Sunday-Wednesday; B Shift (9am - 7:30 pm) alternates weekly between Wednesday-Saturday and Thursday-Saturday; C Shift (7:00 pm - 5:30 am) alternates weekly between Sunday-Tuesday and Sunday-Wednesday; D Shift (7:00 pm - 5:30 am) alternates weekly between Wednesday-Saturday and Thursday-Saturday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Royal City, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
