Purpose & Scope:
Reports to the QA Technical Services Superintendent and is responsible for overseeing pallets of product arriving at and leaving our cold storage facility located at Lineage in Windsor, CO. We are seeking an individual who can work independently, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and communicates effectively.
The role is from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Principle Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-operation inspection and support pre-start up floor activities Inspect inbound trailers and pallets for overall condition Inspect pallets prior to leaving cold storage to ensure compliance and quality standards Document audits in Safety Chain online system Re-box damaged product using packaging material and equipment providedKeep track of packaging materials and equipment to prevent shortages and notify JBS management in a timely manner when replenishment is required Lift and move boxes up to 90 lbs. as requiredCollaborate with USDA representatives and cold storage personnel to resolve issuesCommunicate with JBS personnel to address concerns and implement solutions Monitor pallet movement to minimize product damage during shipping and receiving Prepare and submit detailed daily reports of inspection findings using a laptop Perform other duties as assignedSpecial Skills:

Education:
Experience: Experience in food manufacturing quality control preferred
Work Environment:
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures, fast-paced setting, and exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives. Can further include slippery floors and loud noises.
