We are seeking a detail-oriented **QA Technical Analyst** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing MBS Systems applications used by college bookstores, documenting procedures and results, and supporting quality assurance efforts. You will also assist in resolving escalated issue tickets in partnership with Client Services Representatives.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
+ Develop and maintain test scripts based on functional requirements and system designs.
+ Execute testing procedures, document results, and communicate defects or inconsistencies to the project team.
+ Perform various types of testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
+ Collaborate with MBS Systems staff to understand application issues and user needs.
+ Assist in resolving Tier 2 support issues within the assigned MBS Systems application area.
+ Perform additional responsibilities as required.
**What You'll Need to Succeed**
+ Solid understanding of quality assurance testing principles and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
+ Strong attention to detail with logical, effective problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language.
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
+ Technical experience may include Windows-based systems, programming languages, retail web commerce, mobile devices, hardware systems, IBM iSeries/AS400, college bookstore operations, Windows-based POS applications, PCI standards, and related technologies (based on assigned application).
