Job Title: QA/QC Technician
Job Description

We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to perform quality control and assurance work on piles and racking for the Mechanical contractor on a project. Candidates should be adept with basic hand and power tools, proficient in using a ruler to a tenth of an inch, and should possess mechanical inclination and familiarity with technology such as iPads and computers. The role involves conducting inspections on all mechanical phases of the job.

ResponsibilitiesConduct quality control and assurance on mechanical components of the project.Utilize basic hand and power tools effectively.Measure accurately using a ruler to a tenth of an inch.Perform inspections on all mechanical phases.Operate and manage technology such as iPads and computers for inspection purposes.Essential Skills2+ years of mechanical and pile quality control experience.Proficiency in using either an iPad or a computer.Mechanical inclination and familiarity with solar, QA, QC, and construction processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 10 certification is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work outdoors at a solar project site in Coldwater, MI, within a new construction environment. The role requires 5-6 shifts a week, totaling 50-60 hours. Work begins at 7 AM with daily safety talks. There are three breaks each day—morning, lunch, and afternoon. Appropriate outdoor work clothing and steel toe boots above the ankle are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
