Job Description
REEL USA is seeking a QA & QC Inspector to support the quality assurance and control activities of our new Springfield facility. Reporting to the Site Manufacturing Manager, the QA & QC Inspector will play a key-role in ensuring that the products, materials and processes meet the highest quality standards. This position will oversee everything from quality control on material reception, in-process, final delivery as well as supporting our quality system and health& safety program.
Pay Rate$25.00 - $35.00 (Based on Experience)Weekly Pay
ResponsibilitiesValidate quality records against applicable standards, drawings, and purchasing requirements.Manage non-compliance reports, including writing, follow-up, and closure.Write inspection reports and other quality documents.Participate in the creation, maintenance, and management of the collection of quality records.Contribute to the improvement of the quality system.Perform quality control tasks, including dimensional inspection, hardness measurement, and paint inspection.Support quality assurance programs as needed.Support health and safety programs and manage safety interactions.Essential SkillsExperience in inspection, quality assurance, and quality control.Proficiency with hand tools and lifting systems.Knowledge of records management and safety procedures.Understanding of electrical, racking, and OSHA regulations.Ability to operate lift trucks.Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOP).Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma, Vocational Education, or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.3+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing facility, preferably in a regulated environment such as automotive, aerospace, or nuclear.Strong written and oral communication skills.Autonomy and strong attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).Knowledgeable about metrology, materials, calibration, auditing, and inspection techniques.Demonstrated ability to utilize relevant hand tools for inspection purposes.Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Understanding of traceability concepts regarding product, material, and calibration.Knowledgeable and familiar with ISO 9001/ISO 17025/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/ and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and understand the concept of traceability (product, material, and calibration).Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.Why Work Here?

The candidate will work in a facility currently undergoing renovations, offering a dynamic and evolving work environment. During the remodel, the work will continue, providing an opportunity to be part of the transformation process.

The pay range for this position is $38.88 - $56.70/hr.
