QA Jr Engineer

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a QA Jr Engineer. 

What you’ll do:

Primary Function:

Responsible for verifying and validating manufacturing systems, including documentation processes, controls, and optimization throughout the product lifecycle to ensure internal quality and customer satisfaction. The Junior Quality Engineer seeks and promotes continuous improvement of the quality system for processes and transfers that impact the QMS.

 

Essential Functions:

1    Contributes to the SQDCI metrics of the business unit.
2    Uses daily cell information (external/internal PPMs, etc.) to develop and execute corrective and preventive actions to promote continuous improvement.
3    Communicates and interacts with employees regarding feedback and customer satisfaction to foster a positive quality culture.
4    Manages assigned quality metrics and performs measurement studies.
5    Validates manufacturing systems (assembly lines and cells), including documentation (PFMEA, HOEs, PCPs, etc.).
6    Leads quality initiatives and improvements.
7    Develops corrective actions derived from RMAs and customer notifications.
8    Audits areas (LPAs).
9    Prepares PPAPs and APQPs.
10    Supports material purges.
11    Maintains an electronic database of all submitted documentation to ensure quick document retrieval (when applicable).
12    Reviews, prints, and promptly distributes the latest revision documentation to all appropriate users and ensures the removal of obsolete documentation from distribution (when applicable).

Qualifications:

Preferred education level:            

Bachelor Degree Industrial Engineer, electronic.

 

Years and area of experience required:    

Minimum of 1 year experience in similar position.

 

Technical knowledge:            

80% minimum of English domain MS Office Excel, Word, SAPSAP, MS Office.
