Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer, level 3, for a leading provider of complex composites, assemblies, and tooling in the aerospace industry. This is a direct hire role, located in San Diego, CA. Job responsibilities will include:  · Review build manuals, blueprints, engineering documents, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and AS9100 standards.  · Lead root‑cause analysis for material or production issues and drive corrective‑action solutions.  · Manage build‑manual revisions and ensure only current, approved documentation is used in production.  · Prepare AS9100 First Article (FAI) and inspection reports while supporting program management and quality teams.  · Serve as the main customer communication point through email and customer portals.  · Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) to review and disposition nonconformances.  · Review internal purchase requests and support vendor quality documentation.  · Assist with testing, experiments, and continuous‑improvement activities as needed.
