Job Description
The QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our applications through a strong focus on automated testing, supplemented by targeted manual testing where needed. In this role, the engineer will design, build, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright with JavaScript (preferred) or Selenium with C# or Java. They will execute UI and API-level security testing, collaborate closely with developers to identify defects early, and contribute to continuous improvement across the QA process. The position involves participating in code reviews, analyzing test results, documenting defects with clarity, and helping evolve our testing frameworks and best practices to support a high‑quality release pipeline.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
• Perform security-focused tests to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Execute targeted manual test cases to supplement automation coverage.
• Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
• Participate in test planning, story refinement, and code reviews.
• Contribute to expanding and scaling QA frameworks, tooling, and strategies.
• Provide input and improvements to QA processes, ensuring efficiency and predictability across releases.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the SDLC, from requirements through deployment.

Skills and Requirements
• 2–5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance roles.
• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting.
• Ability to perform manual testing when needed to validate edge cases or complex flows.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript (strong preference).
• Experience with Selenium (C# or Java acceptable).
• Solid understanding of UI and API testing, including authentication, error handling, and data validation.
• Experience with security-related testing practices (e.g., input validation, session management checks, API vulnerabilities).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into automated workflows (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
• Understanding of modern software architectures (REST APIs, microservices, cloud environments).
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Clear, concise communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, DevOps).
• Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
