This role will be part of a team responsible for collecting requirements, scheduling releases, functional testing, and end-user training for global corporate tools to support various teams throughout the organization. This position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills. The QA Analyst II will bring experience with testing software, requirements gathering, training users, and functional testing. This person will be able to help to mentor more junior members of the team if required and manage projects independently.
Responsibilities
Test and support applications in a global software platform (Salesforce) and various other corporate systems, tools, and scriptsCollaborate with other internal groups to translate business and functional requirements into technical implementation for the automation of existing processes and the development of new applicationsCommunicate with internal customers in non-technical terms, understand business requirements, and propose solutionsWork on projects from specification gathering, to development, to QA, user acceptance testing, and deployment to productionParticipate in meetings and organize work and/or training sessions around new software being introduced into the ICE technology environmentDocument changes and author documentation on software functionalityEnhances team and coworkers through knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in day-to-day activitiesTakes initiative to continually learn and enhance technical knowledge and skills.Knowledge and Experience
3+ Years of experience testing all phases of QA efforts required to successfully execute medium & large enterprise Salesforce implementation projects.Experience testing (manual) Salesforce Projects using Agile Scrum methodology.Must have experience in planning, preparing, and executing functional, integration and user acceptance testing, including end-to-end test scenarios across multiple systems.Experience in Salesforce administration or Salesforce QA testing.Must have effective communication skills to share testing knowledge and test strategy in a collaborative atmosphere to lead and influence positive quality results among other test teams.Must have experience in developing test cases and managing all aspects of software testing and defect management (manage defect calls).Verify that fixes for defects and new features work as expected and do not cause regressions in affected areas.Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment.Desirable Knowledge and Experience
Exposure to Agile methodologies and working/hands on knowledge in JIRA or any test management toolNice to have basic test automation Skills
