Job Purpose

The QA Analyst will work with the Systems Analysts, Development, and Project Management teams to understand the business/product/system requirements. You will be responsible for building & reviewing test scenarios, writing & executing test cases both manually and automated. You will be exposed to automation test frameworks and automation test script maintenance. This position requires technical proficiency/problem solving as well as an eager attitude to learn, professionalism and the ability to interact positively and confidently within the ICE culture.

 

Responsibilities

Review business requirements to properly build/enhance/support a related test framework.Design and develop comprehensive automated and manual test strategies and test cases in ALMResponsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated and manual test scripts. Building frameworks & ensuring the reliability of our software products through automated/manual testing.Write, execute, and maintain end-to-end integration tests using JavaScript/TypeScript.Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins for continuous testing.Perform API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent for RESTful web services.Create and manage test data for PostgreSQL/SQL databases and perform database testing.

 

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent academic discipline.4+ years of relevant Quality Engineering experience involving application development, deployment and testing (Preferably in the financial industry).A working knowledge of Git/Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration. Proficient in SoapUI, Postman and Ready API testing tools.Strong SQL database skills for data validation and database testing.Experience with API testing tools and techniques.Knowledge/Experience in SSO, Federation, SAML, OpenID and OAuth2 .Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills with ability to explain designs and solutions clearly.Excellent presentation skills.Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
