Our client is seeking a Senior Developer to join their team in Jersey City. You will work on developing object-oriented solutions using Python, RESTful APIs, and Angular, while integrating with databases such as Oracle (Exadata) and no-SQL stores. **Job Title:** Python Developer **Location:** Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote) **Employment Type:** Contract (12+ months) **Pay:** $68/hr **Work Authorization:** + **W2 Only** + **H1B candidates accepted if willing to transfer to Experis W2** + **No C2C or third parties – this includes hourly referrals** **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop object-oriented software using Python and other OO languages (Java, C++, C#). + Build RESTful web services and data-grid centric UIs using Angular. + Design and enhance SQL databases and queries. + Develop data transfer tools from no-SQL to Oracle databases. + Contribute to Agile software development and full SDLC. **Requirements:** + 6+ years of object-oriented programming experience. + 3+ years of Python development. + Strong SQL database design and tuning skills. + Experience with REST APIs, Angular (15.x+), and Git. + Knowledge of financial instruments or price verification is a plus. + Exposure to grid computing, object-oriented databases, or TDD is desirable.
