Who We Are
You will be working on a product that enhances quality processes and IT systems for internal manufacturing within a major automotive client. This role involves developing software solutions that support production control systems for various components, including exterior parts and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFK). The focus is on continuous improvement and ensuring high production quality across multiple global locations. The product aims to evolve a fragmented application landscape into a unified, modular technical platform, leveraging cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture to adapt to future production needs and integrate new initiatives in electric mobility.
What you'll be doing
Collaborate with team members and customers in an agile environment to conceptualize and create storiesEstimate and implement backlog items, ensuring adherence to project quality standards through unit tests and code reviewsProactively suggest technical improvements and engage in skill-building for both existing and emerging technologiesSupport the Operations team with development-related tasksDevelop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures as part of the service-oriented architecture (SOA)Implement RESTful services for seamless integration and communication between componentsParticipate in the design and development of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliabilityUtilize monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain system functionality and performanceEngage in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline development processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverablesAssist in the integration of IoT devices and platforms to enhance data collection and analytics capabilities
What you'll bring along
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar roleStrong programming skills in PythonExperience with SQL and database systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL.Familiarity with embedded systems and automation technologiesExperience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and container orchestration using KubernetesExperience in infrastructure setup, system security, backup strategies, and performance optimizationProven expertise in interface development and system modernization projects.Deep understanding of application and system administration, including middleware technologies like Tomcat, WebSphere, and WebLogicKnowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and JenkinsExperience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, and GrafanaProficient in agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitExperience with messaging systems like Kafka and communication protocols such as MQTT and HTTPUnderstanding of architectural setups, system interfaces and their trade-offsAbility to write unit tests and manage deployment pipelinesStrong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAutomotive industry experience is a plusSelf-motivated, structured, and organized with a strong willingness to learnAbility to work independently while seeking support when neededProficiency in English and German is mandatory Document .style{ width:930px;padding:15px;}.font-text{ font-family: customfaa3f6eee6874329a13ae; font-size: 16px; font-type:ttf; font-style: Medium;}
