Role Overview:
Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing non-production goods and services essential for the company's efficient operations, such as IT equipment, facility maintenance, marketing services, and office supplies. This role focuses on optimizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) and ensuring high-quality, compliant supplier relationshipsAbout the role
Manage purchasing activities, including processing purchase requisitions and maintaining accurate data entry and be audit ready anytime of the year.Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and terms.
Coordinate with internal departments to align procurement with project and operational requirements. Ensure contract compliance and continuously seek improvements in service and cost-efficiency. Collaborate with requisitioners to ensure purchase orders accurately reflect internal needs.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, reductions, and rebates.
Build strong internal relationships and train cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Engineering, IT, Legal, Finance, etc.) on purchasing processes.
Partner with stakeholders to develop procurement strategies and analyze supplier proposals for selection recommendations.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, professional ethics, and relevant regulations.
Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve procurement-related issues effectively.
Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities and drive process improvements.
About you
The ideal candidate having 5-7yrs of experience, should possess a strong understanding of global procurement processes and the ability to manage complex tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
